I have had the game since Tuesday trying to get it installed on my PS4. There is just a pause button on the game when I try to install it. I've tried deleting it and reinstalling and same thing happens. I've let it sit for hours and nothing happens. No clue what to do now. Plenty of room on g PS4. I discovered a bug on PS4 that won't let me download purchased games and Sony won't help me. A couple of weeks ago I tried to download Uncharted 4 on my PS4, which I bought digitally on the day the game . The installer opened and immediately said "Install Failed. A network error occured while attempting to get information from the server. Check network connection and try again. I also noticed that my antivirus software can't download new definitions can't connect to server and that Windows Defender had the same problem. Windows Update will attempt to check for new updates and immediately stops as if the internet connection is down.
My internet connectivity is fine, as I'm posting this from the same computer the problem occurs on. I've attempted disabling all firewalls and antivirus software to no avail. I have also cleared all browser caches, temporary files, and Windows' temporary files.
A virus scan yielded no results and found no viruses, spyware or other issues. It appears that only non-browser programs have problems downloading files. Any help would be appreciated. I downloaded and ran both programs on their most advanced scan settings and removed multiple files identified as threats. The problem is still present. I am beginning to think a system restore may be the only viable option.
