Unable to download large file - TechRepublic

Nov 15,  · Feature Notes. The “Firewall Visibility” also known as “AppRF” is a new feature introduced in AOS version using which a network administrator can have visibility to all the mobile application traffic in the network that passes through the Aruba controller. This can be achieved by looking at the pie charts created on the dashboard under Dashboard> Firewall on the controller WebUI. Jan 07,  · To download the files in OneDrive to your local disk, I would suggest use OneDrive sync client, if you just want to download part of the files in your OneDrive to local disk, there is a feature called OneDrive Files On-Demand. But if you want to download all the files and folders to your desktop, you can turn off the feature in OneDrive settings. There was a conflict with the Firewall group policy as I had part of it set in the local security policies and part of it was set in the Windows Templates. I moved everything to the local security policies and it's working fine now. What's on the other side of the SonicWall? Can you connect to whatever it is directly with a PC for testing? How is your overall connectivity with your ISP? Is there a lot of traffic going through you WAN port?

The amount of bandwidth sucks honestly. At the moment the dude connection is showing use at about 5Mbps on the broadband and kbps on the T1 lines. I was able to do a short test over the Middle School lunch hour when traffic goes does and had no problems downloading. I didn't have enough time to download the whole MB file but had consistent download speeds than when I'm behind the firewall.

I would try it with one of the ISPs out of the picture. The active active load balancing may be part of the issue. If you are load-balancing between 2 circuits and your traffic is getting split, then you are probably failing checksums and TCP has to go through its handshake again and again.

You should try without your slow link being load-balanced with your fast link. Due to the differences in those connection types, I wouldn't advise using them together in a load-balanced aruba controller firewall unable to download large files. I then set up a routing policy to make sure I used the broadband line, aruba controller firewall unable to download large files.

After doing that it still timed out. The IP address binding box is checked. I am about 15 minutes away from being able to unplug the broadband line and attempting to download directly off the modem.

That's my next step. Update: It took two tries when connected directly to the modem but the file downloaded. I then hooked up to the firewall and downloaded another, 33MB file, and then connected through a switch and downloaded several other smaller files. I've tried it 3 times and it acts like it completes the MB download. So, if I read that correctly, same PC works fine when connected to modem or firewall directly. Connected to a switch off of the firewall and it worked. Went to your desk and it failed.

That would seem to indicate an issue with something at your desk. Network cable, jack you're connected to, switch that your jack is going to, etc I can, but I wasn't clear above. When I said I said I connected through a switch and downloaded several other smaller files it was at my desk.

I'm going to try and download wirelessly while everyone is in assembly we'll see how that goes. I guess I'll have to try downloading from somewhere other than the two ports in my office.

Nope, I had it connected directly to a switch, same stack but unused port. Both times the download just stopped in the MB of MB range. I tried it from a different machine connected directly to a different switch. Still doesn't work. So we've got it down to 2 things then. Something installed on all your machines AV, etc Is there any way to pin it down further?

A PC not on the network yet that could still connect to the Internet for testing, like a new build? I took a computer from my test group, aruba controller firewall unable to download large files.

I removed all Group Policies from the test group and the computer did not have AV protection. I'll try it again tomorrow and then add some policies back in to see if it makes a difference.

It's a GPO issue, what issue I haven't figured out just yet. The downloads started interrupting once again. Took out the Default Domain Policy and the download is running fine right now. Time to go through that Default Policy with a fine tooth comb and figure out what the heck it's doing. To continue this discussion, please ask a new question. Mods, please move if you see fit. I've been having issues downloading large files for quite some time. I'll start downloading the file and it will either interrupt, aruba controller firewall unable to download large files, work it's way down to 0b, or act like it was a successful download. The download varies from 1, aruba controller firewall unable to download large files. Usually I go home and download the files myself, but this is really starting to get annoying. Best Answer.

Nate Oct 28, at UTC. I'd have to wait until late to take the broadband modem off and test with it. Not sure if it matters but it's happened on off days too when use is lower. Caur Oct 28, at UTC.

I attached it to the x5 port with a aruba controller firewall unable to download large files IP address, same aruba controller firewall unable to download large files happened.

Is the PC at your desk the same one you used for the other tests? Nate Oct 29, at UTC. Can you test with the same PC at another location? Yeah, could be some weird issue with the wiring in there. FWIW both the wi-fi download files were corrupted and unusable. Nate Oct 30, at UTC. Maybe Safe Mode with Networking on an existing machine? Nate Nov 10, at UTC. APs use Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP) during their initial boot to grab their software image and configuration from the controller. After the initial boot, the APs use FTP to retrieve their software images and configurations from the controller. In many deployment scenarios, an external firewall is situated between various Aruba devices. Aug 03,  · While the server the file is hosted on needs to support it as well, it ensures that the download will continue after it was interrupted previously. Instead of having to download the large file over and over again from the beginning, downloads would restart from where the previous download stopped (with a little overhead). Thanks for the quick response. I didn't expect it for sure. Current firmware version is _ and I have five IAP The SSL cert seems to expire in though, unless there is another cert somewhere I am not aware of that is being used for this connection.
